Day 70 “Max Jerk”

I was feeling pretty good after a long and grueling weekend... and was very happy to see jerk on the board today. I am really happy with my recovery and performances over the last three days, it was a good test for me both physically and mentally. Generally I perform best when my body is pushed passed its limits and it becomes a mental exercise. This weekend felt like my old playing days during doubles and the 4th quarter of a long game. IT FELT GOOD!
The weight felt easy at the end because my form was spot on... I need to just work on keeping my form perfect on each rep, in other words I need to do a bunch of reps around 275 and get the muscle memory back. If felt good to move some weight today and next time I need to get a picture!
Goal for next time is 345, which will be a tall order and a 10 pound all time PR for me but I have no doubt that it is within reach!
Day off tomorrow then two wods on Wednesday and then its off to Oregon and three crossfit boxes!
