Day 37 “Know Pain Know Gain”

Today is Friday and Friday means Crossfit in the morning for me! It was an interesting morning because I walked in and for the first time the first thing I did was not look at the bored. I actually forgot to look... I set my stuff down and started talking with Faith, it was a good two or three minutes before I noticed that the bored said “Know Pain Know Gain”! Not sure what this means but I think it’s a good thing...
I must say that I smiled when I saw the WOD, last time this workout beat me up! This time I was going to kick its ass! During the warmup I thought about the last time we did this workout (3rd WOD for the Crossfit Games Team Qualifier 6/14/09) and how I wanted to approach the workout. I came up with a plan for the WOD and stuck to it for the most part. For some reason I have been feeling confident lately on wall balls and I thought I could get all 5 rounds unbroken... well that didn’t happen I only got the first two rounds. The rest of the workout I did as planned, did the first round of Sumo’s unbroken and then the rest split 10/5, and I did all five rounds of burpee’s in 3 sets of 5 with 5 breaths in between each set. Although the last round I did a 5/10 split cuz it was the last round.
So I PR’d by 4:08 from just a month ago! Last time I got an 18:36 and felt wrecked afterwords this time I felt like I wanted to do another WOD!
Goal for next time... sub 12:30!
