KING KONG ON CHRISTMAS DAY
So I set a goal for myself back in July that I wanted to attempt and complete a WOD known as King Kong by the end of the year. At the time the thing holding me back was the fact that I could not do Hand Stand Push Ups and or Muscle Ups. Well now I can and it’s on!
The WOD goes like this:
“King Kong”
3 Rounds For Time
1 Deadlift @ 455lbs
2 Muscle Ups
3 Squat Cleans @ 250lbs
4 HSPU’s
My goal is sub 5 minutes
I can’t think of a better Christmas present for myself.
Completing this WOD will be a huge accomplishment for me and will put an exclamation point on a transformational year. The requirements are diverse and are certainly not easy. Alone most of the movements are easy for me, but combining them will present a serious challenge. I can’t fucking wait!
Again, I will be attempting this on Christmas Day, probably some time in the morning... not to early :) Lisa will be filming it so I will have a video to put up here!
