Knee felt good, elbow felt good! My treatment seems to be working!
This was my first attempt at Cindy and she wasn’t all bad. One of the better ladies I must say. Going in my goal was 20 rounds and I accomplished that. I honestly think I may have got 21 rounds as there was some error in the counting process, but that doesn’t matter. What does matter is the immense progress that I have made and my confidence level going forward.
Today I did all of the pull-up rounds of 5 unbroken and it was easy. Never once did I feel like the pull-ups were getting hard. I think all of my work on the bar including a lot of grip work is paying off big time!
Somewhere around the 4th round something very unexpected and unplanned happened... I started to butterfly! I had been thinking about trying this for some time but have done no research or ever attempted it. All that happened was I got a little lazy on my kip and accidently did one. I was shocked but super excited and could not wait to get back to the pull-up bar each round! What a 180 that is!!! Granted the butterfly is not pretty “yet”, but I feel pretty confident in it and with a little work I think it will be a great weapon for me going forward!
The one weak link for me again today was the push-ups, although they are getting better. I think the first 10 rounds were unbroken and then they deteriorated from there. I have no doubt that by the next time I do this my push-ups will be drastically improved along with my pull-ups and squats!
Goal for next time is 25 rounds!
