Coaching at Crossfit Ventura is something that first crossed my mind while competing at the Affiliate Competition in Aromas last July. The Crossfit community in general is incredible and something I feel blessed to be a part of; but being part of the CFV community for the last 6 months has been straight up life altering! The pride I feel in being part of CFV and the love I have for the people I have met here is absolutely astonishing to me. After my football career ended I never thought that I would have the opportunity to experience those emotions again, and at CFV I get to share them with you all each and every day!

When Colin approached me a few weeks ago about the opportunity to coach at CFV it took all I had to stay calm and cool! What Huff, Colin & Faith have created here at CFV is something so unique and special that there are no words to explain it. I feel blessed to train at CFV; having the opportunity and privilege to coach at CFV leaves me speechless!

So today the transition started! I coached my first class at 7am and then worked out at 8am. Over the next few months I will be coaching classes a few times a week with the supervision of either Colin or Huff. On February 20-21, I will be getting my Crossfit Level 1 Certification in Huntington Beach at Crossfit Marina. I certainly wish that this was happening a bit sooner, but this was the only Level 1 Cert. open from now till then... 

CFV is already one of the best affiliate’s out there, and in my opinion we are well on our way to becoming the best affiliate there is! This is not only because of the leadership & dedication that Colin & Huff have demonstrated, but also because of all the CFV athletes who come in each day and dedicate themselves to being the best Crossfit’er they can!

So for all of you at CFV that read my blog, I may be coaching you soon and I can’t wait! I have love for you all and care so much about your progress as a crossfit’er! I will dedicate myself to become the best Crossfit Trainer I can be, so I can help you become the best Crossfit’er you can be, which will in turn make Crossfit Ventura the best affiliate there is!
