Day 111 “Annie”

Looking ahead to Saturday I did not do this. Instead, I did a quick tempo workout of 6 sets of 2 @275.

I am really happy with this! This is a 10:22 PR for me! The first time I did Annie it absolutely wrecked me! This time around the Double Unders were the easy part! The first 50 were a bit rough as I think I should have spent some more time warming up and getting in rhythm. The second round of 40 went by really fast and so did the 30. Both the 20 & 10 were unbroken, and that 20 in a row is a huge PR!!! I am so happy with that!
The sit-up part of the wod is what got to me a bit. This is definitely something that I need to spend some time working on and turn into a strength. Moving my own weight (sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups..etc) is proving to be my biggest weakness. Losing this last 20 pounds will be very important for my progress in this department and as a crossfit’er in general!
